We take the issue of Data Security and the protection of licensed software extremely seriously. Not only is there a requirement to protect data under the Data Protection Act but also there are issues of commercial and client confidentiality to consider. We therefore offer different levels of security depending on each client’s requirements.
- Data security is maintained by utilising specific eradication software that overwrites all sectors on the hard-drive with check-data, completely obliterating previous data, including any licensed software (See below).
- Where hard-drives are unsuitable for resale they are drilled or shredded prior to dispatch for smelting and metal recovery.
- A certificate of data destruction is issued to the customer.

This is up to Government and Ministry of Defence Standards which ensures that your data does not end up in another persons or companies hands. |
